Job description
  • Coordinate purchasing and stock keeper’s team.

  • Secure in time material availability for production, regular communication about material supply changes with other departments. 

  • Professionally challenge suppliers to improve constantly all aspects of their performance, contract review and supplier’s evaluation.

  • Build professional and long- term relationship through IKEA way of doing business, based on a shared business model, trust and transparency.

  • Business development – search for new suppliers, solutions and materials.    

  • Pro-active cooperation with central Purchase Division, One IKEA transport, IKEA Forestry requirements.  

  • Purchasing analysis and reports.

  • Stock and Inventory Management.

  • Secure planning and execution to fulfil the sourcing assignment and pro-actively work together with other departments to integrate opportunities and act on deviations.

  • Responsible for development, performance management, retention and succession plans for co-workers in her/his team.

  • Contribute in the strategic planning of the company. This means creating visions, strategies and policies as well as setting and realising long-term goals of the company.
