Job description

We are currently looking for a People & Culture generalist to join us!
As the People & Culture function we want to truly contribute and add value to the business in a fast changing and challenging world. We work to attract, recruit, and develop people who love to fulfil our vision, by offering a foundation for a great candidate and co-worker experience based on our culture and values.

We work closely with the day-to-day business within IKEA Älmhult Group, and we are contributing to the growth of business through people. Our contribution is to secure the base operational People & Culture processes. 

We have recently implemented a new People & Culture landscape with Workday and My Support (Service Now) as the main solutions. You will work operationally with a wide range of People & Culture assignments and together in the People & Culture team to secure operational deliveries, and make sure processes are put into practice in the most efficient way. Initially you will support managers and co-workers regarding questions related to payroll, time, vacation, absence, certificates, and other People & Culture topics together with People & Culture Administrator.

Moving forward when our new solutions are fully integrated and our ways of working are set, you will move into more generalist tasks such as recruitment, onboarding and more, working closely with our People & Culture Leaders. One of your main responsibilities will be to secure operational excellence in implementing and maintaining People & Culture processes, working methods and legal requirements.

We are looking for you who together with us want to bring people and business together and ensure that we are an excellent place to work and develop. You work independently and are motivated in finding new ways, as well as collaborating in a team environment with colleagues and stakeholders throughout the organization.  

You have a HR related education, and it is beneficial if you have experience from working within HR or relevant field, preferably from a complex, international organisation. You are passionate about providing an organisation with HR knowhow in a variety of topics. You feel comfortable in facilitating discussions, meetings and workshops with co-workers, managers, and other stakeholders, and you are fluent in both spoken and written English. It´s a great advantage if you have experience from working with the People & HR solution Workday.

You demonstrate reliability, honesty, and integrity in interpersonal relations, and you establish trust and effective working relationships. You lead yourself with confidence and have a good ability to prioritise and handle a combination of different tasks on different levels. You have strong communication skills, and you share your knowledge as well as being curious and eager to learn more. You are structured, organised and you make things happen.
