WHO YOU ARE

As a person you are passionate about people and dedicated to contributing to great candidate and co-worker’s experience by means of excellent recruitment & sourcing processes – on strategic, tactical and operational level. You act as an ambassador for the IKEA culture and values and enjoy working in a vibrant and changing multi-dimensional environment.

Your ability to implement long-term plans, set budgets and goals and use knowledge of forecasting, analysing and planning for the talent needs for key positions, enables IKEA to operate better as a people focus organisation. You have expertise in employer branding tools to build trust and create engagement so that IKEA is seen as a great place to work to co-workers and potential co-workers. Your knowledge about candidate’s behaviours and labour market trends can help IKEA to gain insights to better attract, develop and retain suitable candidates for a job at IKEA. You are aware of IKEA corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people, to ensure right representation.

You demonstrate general leadership ability and effectiveness in handling multiple priorities, initiatives, interfaces and tasks and apply business knowledge and leverage digital best practices to achieve organisational goals and objectives. You know how to work independently, take own initiatives and responsibility. You express ideas and opinions effectively - with ability to influence and inspire.

For this role we believe you have proven record of developing people and organisations, minimum 3 years of Human Resources experience, minimum 2 years of experience in Sourcing and/or EVP or Recruitment Marketing and experience from a global matrix organisation and/or participating in global and/or cross-country projects. Knowledge of Public Relations/Communications or Marketing is a plus. The level of English required is Upper-Intermediate to communicate effectively across the organisation.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role as Talent Sourcing & EVP Leader, you lead an efficient, effective and consistent execution of Sourcing & EVP solutions to proactively ensure a pipeline of talent candidates to fill job vacancies, building a fair selection process based on IKEA values.

You will:
• Local lead for all Sourcing & EVP planning related aspects in country
• Lead localisation of the Centre of Expertise Sourcing & EVP concept, frameworks, approach and process in order to ensure successful implementation in country
• Proactively collect and transmit country Sourcing & EVP needs to the Centre of Expertise
• Contribute to a high standard of excellence within Sourcing & EVP, delivering a consistent high quality service to IKEA internal stakeholders and giving candidates an excellent experience in line with our IKEA values and brand
• Implement sourcing strategies that address future business needs and objectives through innovative and multichannel methods
• Be responsible for execution of all local initiatives linked to employer marketing and branding in the country including managing national partnerships
• Network with stakeholders across the country organisation to proactively monitor and manage sourcing needs for today and the future
• Monitor external employer and workforce trends and leverage for adaptation of attraction and sourcing strategies at country level
• Take a data-driven approach to monitor and track performance on Sourcing & EVP dimensions
