To be successful you should have proven experience in product management as a Product Manager/Owner. In this role you have a minimum of 3 years of experience in best-practice digital product development. You have demonstrable experience in working in an Agile or DevOps working set-up, proven analytical skills and experience making decisions based on hard and soft data. We believe you have strong communication skills with business and technical stakeholders and a true team player with strong collaboration skills. Furthermore, you should have strong business acumen and strategic/commercial mind-set and we also see that you have knowledge and experience working with various technology platforms. As a person you enjoy working at a high pace with many international stakeholders, taking decisions that will delight our users and result in an outstanding impact for IKEA.


Our mission at IKEA is to create a better everyday life for the many people. You will be responsible and accountable for the product discovery and delivery of some of our CRM and Data products across the globe (that’s over 3 billion people per year!!). This will include forming the vision and strategy for the product(s), building trusted relationships with stakeholders, understanding our customers, being data informed, and working with your product team to deliver against a roadmap set by you. Ultimately your aim is to solve problems in ways that Ikea customers love, yet work for our business.

You will:
• Work on the tools that support the customers who want to register on our platform for a more tailored experience.
• Give our customers a great experience where we identify their needs and ensure our messages are relevant and based on the customer’s previous interactions and transactions.
• Ensure IKEA handles customer data in a legal, transparent and ethical manner.
• Set a tangible product strategy for the assigned product and ensure that the delivery of outcomes meets objectives and customer needs
• Actively research customer needs and apply the resulting insights
• Align with cross-functional teams within the domain to ensure maximum impact
• Demonstrate strong product development practices in the daily interactions to enable high performing healthy teams
• Be open to different perspectives being heard and balanced to meet business objectives, collaborating within and outside of the team to ensure togetherness and strong partnership with key stakeholders
• Communicate the product strategy and vision for the product(s) to ensure the team(s) is driving the product(s) in the strategic direction
• Demonstrate a data informed approach to deliver successful outcomes for customers
• Define OKR´s for one or several products together with the team(s) and key stakeholders to ensure team(s) are aligned and tracking towards the same goals
• Guide and support your team to ensure individuals are performing to the best of their ability
• Document learnings, adopting a continuous improvement approach and transferring learnings to the other team(s)

Ideally your background would include the following:

• End to end ownership of customer facing web products, ideally in the CRM space
• Obsession about customer problems and needs and naturally curious in how to solve them
• Good ability to identify with the customer and being able to inspire a deep customer empathy within the team
• Good understanding of the product owner role in relation to other digital functions, knowing best practices in building agile and outcome-oriented ways of working
• Good knowledge in how to define and measure success, for example how to create OKR framework or KPI´s
• Passionate about the digital future and navigating in complex and imperfect environments
• Good ability to influence, listen to and collaborate successfully with variety of stakeholders connected to the domain in a complex
• Having a data informed and outcome driven mindset

This role is an open-ended contract and will be located in Amsterdam, Netherlands, or Malmö, Sweden
