The task of IKEA Components within IKEA is to pursue the development of future unique and customer-friendly solutions within fittings and components to the IKEA range. We create substantial cost and quality benefits for IKEA in our development and supply of raw materials, components and fittings. IKEA Components is part of the Inter IKEA group and shares the IKEA vision and values. Our business is global and employs 1500 people based in Sweden, Slovakia and China. Through co-operation with IKEA Purchasing and Logistic areas, we are also represented at several other sites around the world.
IKEA Components in China is responsible for packaging and distribution of furniture components. The packaging is done of automatic packaging lines. In the new factory we will invest in new technique for automatic warehousing and internal logistic.
Responsible for overall warehouse goals setting, initiate local business plans/projects implementation and commitment to achieve excellent in running operation.
Responsible for staff, shift and equipment planning based on volume forecast to secure operational business and activities to meet goods availability
Responsible to increase efficiency of Warehouse operations to reduce cost, improve productivity and work spirit
Focus to Everyday Product Quality, Create co-workers quality awareness & behaviours to reduce damage and make 5S “ Neat & Clean” reality in operation
Secure that working processes are in compliance with IKEA rules and guidelines as well as laws and regulations are followed and maintained (e.g. work instructions, system instructions, internal routines)
Provide information about plans and results to co-workers and explain their overall importance
Responsible to maintain a clean, organized and safe environment throughout the Warehouse.
Ensures adherence of all safety requirements and proper training across their function.
Ensure adherence according to IWAY Standards on the daily operations.
Support and execute the ideals of "The Human Resource Idea" with regard to recruitment, training, development and leadership.
Proven knowledge and working experience in managerial function (preferably in warehouse operations and logistics with automatic warehouse, AGV, ERP system etc.)
Proven leadership and success in building teams and motivating people
Potential or experience to lead people
Fluent in English and local language, both written and spoken
MS Office knowledge
Proven knowledge of health and safety laws, standards and regulations related to warehousing activities
Ability to communicate, inspire and motivate IKEA co-workers
Ability to communicate effectively with people in different positions in the organization
Dynamic and Action oriented leader and team member that takes responsibility and is confident in making independent decisions
Ability to be Being a leader and a team player

The role of Warehouse Manager will be very important contributor in the project for future success to set up the factory and set routines for the automatic in-house logistic operation. You will lead, coach and develop teams.
