• Strong IKEA relevant retailing and graphic communication knowledge
• Good knowledge of IKEAs corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people
• Rich knowledge and deep understanding of commercial review standards
• Computer proficient including the ability to produce CAD plans.
• Good Knowledge of Common Store Planning principles and IKEA range
• Good knowledge in project management and Retail Establishment Process


• Responsible to lead Com&In expansion Graphic Design team in securing relevant and inspiring home furnishing solutions, an optimal store layout and effective and efficient store communication that builds the IKEA Brand and distances IKEA retailers from the competition .
• Formulate, execute, evaluate and develop the commercial strategy for China expansion and new stores
• Be responsible for delivering the specific expansion projects to the right quality, on time and on budget
• Secure that all Com&In related strategies and relevant market input is gathered, analysed and secured for the projects
• Lead, manage and develop Specialists promoting individual growth and competence to secure a high performing team
• Secure that the correct resources available at the right time to achieve the project goals
• Inform and engage with the Com&In GC Manager in the store all Com&In input & decision points regarding store design, range presentation solutions, an optimal store layout and effective and
efficient store communication
• Document the fine plan result, secure that format and contents of fine plan documents and drawings are meeting standard requirements.
• Participate in store commercial build up process after opening and follow up on the project process for continuous improvement
